- Microphone: Used to record audio during the prank reaction video.
- Storage: We use standard Android APIs to save your recorded reaction videos directly to your device’s gallery. This app does not require or use broad access to your existing media library.
B. Data Handling
- Local Processing: The camera feed and audio are processed locally on your device (“ephemeral processing”). We do not stream, view, or store your real-time camera feed on our servers.
- Virtual Currency (“Emoji”): Your “Emoji” balance and progress are stored locally on your device. Due to security measures against abuse, this specific data is excluded from cloud backups and will be lost if the app is uninstalled.
- User Submissions: If you voluntarily choose to use the “Submit Video” feature, the video file you select will be uploaded to our cloud storage for the purpose of potential featuring on our social media channels. This is an opt-in action.
C. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services that collect anonymous usage data to help us improve the app:
- Google Play Services: For app functionality.
- AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. This service uses your device’s Advertising ID to serve personalized ads and for performance analytics. This data is shared with Google in accordance with their privacy policies.
- To provide the simulation features of the App.
- To improve App stability and performance.
- If you submit content: To feature your prank video on our social media channels (YouTube, TikTok, etc.) per the Terms of Service.
4. Data Deletion and Retention
- Local Data: Prank videos are stored locally on your device. You can delete these files at any time through the in-app gallery or your device’s file manager.
- Submitted Data: For videos voluntarily submitted to FlashTrapTV, users have the right to request permanent deletion. To exercise this right, please email us at flashtrap.app@gmail.com. We will process your request and remove the content within 30 days.
5. Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
